If you've been on the Mobius Discord or my social media profiles, you may have heard me talking about an upcoming project called "Packing Heat", and even more of you may have noticed that it's been a while since I've done a major update on either Egg Fleet or Mobius.  These two things are related!

But trust me when I say this time spent working in the background has paid off, as after 5 long years of development my next big project is ready for publication:

What is Packing Heat?

Packing Heat is the ultimate set of squad-level rules for the modern era. With a huge assortment of weapons and tactics and a Game Deck that keeps both sides on their toes, no two games are the same!

These rules are designed to recreate those shootouts from your favourite movies and comics with only 4-12 models per player. With Packing Heat, anyone can take part in epic, cinematic combat—even on a small table or a smaller budget!

The 108-page Core Rulebook features stats and rules for the Wild West, Prohibition Era, Second World War, and Modern Streets, all compatible with popular miniature ranges at your local game store.  There's also plenty of room for expansion, which I will use to provide continued support.

I know you Mobius fans like making your own content, so Packing Heat will also come with handy tools for making your own stat-tables!

Is it any good?

I'd say so, but don't just take my word for it:  I've spent the past few years playtesting and getting feedback on Packing Heat from players around the world, most notably in the Salute and Colours wargames shows both last year and this year, and the consensus is in - these are some must-have skirmish rules!
